Spotting the Beggar's Petition - Mosiah 4:16-27

Image
Not all that beg for temporal or spiritual support do so with cardboard signs or outstretched hands. As we seek guidance from on high, we can be blessed to see and support other's needs that are only known to God. As we follow through, we will be filled with joy and build eternal relationships with our brothers and sisters who we help. Seeking inspiration to spot the beggar's petition is a first step to being on the Lord's errand. For "...when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." (Book of Mormon, Mosiah 2:17)

Testimony of the Book of Mormon

I know personally that the Book of Mormon is a true volume of scripture. I have prayed about it and received a personal answer from the Holy Ghost that it is true. It wasn't a loud or grandiose revelation, the confirmation came as a quiet reassurance to my heart that the book I was holding was from God and that the prophet who translated it, Joseph Smith, was truly called of God. My life hasn't been the same since I decided to act on this knowledge. I cannot deny the truthfulness of this book or the restoration of the Gospel through living prophets.
